- Pirate Beacon: Tougher Digs – Players can spend resources to activate a Pirate Beacon before a dig, making the run more challenging with random modifiers such as stronger enemies, lava pits, or total darkness. Defeating pirate minibosses in these boosted digs rewards players with MapFrags, which are essential for accessing Safehouses.
- Safehouse Scout: Raid the Pirates – Using MapFrags, players can enter Safehouse Scout missions, where they mine through asteroids, battle pirates, and collect Contraband.
