Game Features and Characters

MemeBattle will feature a diverse roster of characters based on the mascots of various meme coins from the Base network. Players can expect to see familiar faces such as Brett, Toshi, Keyboard Cat, Dog in Me, Mr. Miggles, Mochi, and Ski Mask Dog.

Additionally, characters from other well-known crypto projects, including Pudgy Penguins, Turbo, and Mew, will also be part of the game. Players will have the opportunity to build squads using these meme coin-based characters and compete in battles to earn rewards.

Unlike traditional card games, MemeBattle will not represent characters as cards. Instead, players will engage in tactical battles, leveraging the unique abilities and traits of each character to outmaneuver their opponents. This innovative approach aims to provide a fresh and engaging experience for players, combining the appeal of meme culture with strategic gameplay.

Pixelverse’s Vision and Support

Pixelverse co-founder Kori Leon expressed excitement about the upcoming game, stating, “Base offers a trusted, scalable platform with low fees and seamless wallet integration, making it the ideal choice for founders in Web3 gaming. We were excited to work with Brett and other leading meme coins as we embrace their rise as digital cultural icons.”

The development of MemeBattle has been supported by significant funding from Gate.io’s $50 million Meme Fund, which aims to back meme creators and community-focused projects. Additionally, Pixelverse has received backing from venture capital firms such as Delphi Ventures and Mechanism Capital, further solidifying its position in the crypto-gaming space.

Building on the success of PixelTap, a Telegram mini-game that attracted millions of players earlier this year, Pixelverse aims to expand its footprint in the gaming industry with MemeBattle.
