TL;DR

  • XOCIETY raises $1.6 million to support development and on-chain rewards.
  • The game uses the XO token for real-time payouts on the Sui network.
  • Pre-Season testing shows over 36,000 active wallets and 15 million transactions.

XOCIETY raises 1.6 million dollars as it moves toward its Early Access debut on the Epic Games Store. The round is led by Neoclassic Capital and Winguard, two firms that expand their support for the game’s infrastructure and its on-chain reward system. The project runs on the Sui network and uses the XO token to deliver real-time payouts tied to player activity.

The new capital strengthens the studio’s development plans and supports expansion of the technical framework. Neoclassic Capital increases its participation after joining earlier stages of the XO token.

Winguard enters as a partner with links to exchanges such as Bithumb. Previous backers, including Hashed, The Spartan Group and YGG, continue to support the project, reinforcing confidence in the game’s direction.

Teams from Sui Foundation and Mysten Labs assist through development, marketing and global presentations. XOCIETY has already appeared at Gamescom and Korea Blockchain Week, gaining visibility among traditional gaming audiences and Web3 users.

A Third-Person Shooter With RPG Progression

XOCIETY operates as a third-person shooter with RPG mechanics set in a sci-fi environment. Player decisions influence the broader world and shape long-term progression. NDUS Interactive develops the game with a 36-member team that brings experience from NCSOFT, Nexon and Krafton.

Founder Jeffry Kim contributes more than twenty years of industry experience and guides the integration of on-chain rewards into a familiar online gameplay model.

The XO Token and the Internal Economy

The XO token drives the game’s economy. Rewards flow through leaderboard performance, Battle Pass progress and various missions. The Sui network processes payouts in real time, while the Walrus protocol verifies competitive match results and tournament outcomes.

The design aims to feel familiar to traditional players. Users log in with email through Slush, with no wallet management or gas fees required. A ghost wallet system is planned for Early Access, linking each Epic Games account to an automatic blockchain wallet running in the background.

Testing Phases and Player Activity

Ahead of Early Access, the team conducted global tests. The Pre-Season Playtest in September ran for one week across four regions and distributed more than eight million XO tokens in rewards.

The competitive mode accounted for 7.2 million tokens. The free Battle Pass added another million. All rewards could be converted to XO in real time using a Sui-powered tool.

Earlier Phase Zero testing recorded more than 36,000 active wallets and 15 million on-chain transactions. The studio reported a 48% retention rate on day fourteen. Feedback from these sessions led to updates in movement, skill balance, loot systems and overall inventory flow.
