The play-to-earn game metaverse, Axie Infinity, has announced the start of its Season 2 Launch Fest: Bugapalooza.
The event runs from January 11 to January 18, and participants will be able to claim Milestones as they view and complete Missions.

What is the Bugapalooza Event?
Bugapalooza is a unique event organized to celebrate the beginning of Origin Season 2. Gamers can unlock Moon Dust, Moonshards, Special Avatars, and a special sticker as they acquire points from different missions. As mentioned, the event will run from January 11 until January 18, and players can claim several milestones before the event ends. You can earn Contest Points from missions that focus on Bug Charms, Bug Runes, and Bug Axies. You can claim the reward when you achieve a milestone.
Highlights of Event Missions
There are different missions curated for this event. Players can complete each one after the other to claim the associated milestone. The event missions included in this event are:
- Win an Arena Battle in Origins: 1 Point
- Win an Arena Battle in Origins with at least one Bug Axie: 2 Points
- Win an Arena Battle in Origin with exactly three Bug Axie: 6 Points
- Craft any Rune: 10 Points
- Craft a Bug Rune: 50 Points
- Craft any Charm: 5 Points
- Craft a Bug Charm: 25 Points
- Buy any Axie: 100 Points
- Buy a Bug Axie: 200 Points
- Bonus: Win an Arena Battle in Origins with any Summer, Christmas, Shiny, or Japanese Bug Axie: 250 Points
- Bonus: Win an Arena Battle in Origin with any MEO Corp I Bug Axie: 500 Points
- Bonus: Win an Arena Battle in Origin with any MEO Corp II Bug Axie: 250 Points
- Bonus: Win an Arena Battle in Origin with an Origin Bug Axie: 500 Points
- Bonus: Complete the Survey: 150 Points
You unlock rewards as you gain Contest Points for each event mission. It is worth mentioning that this event is a part of event series earmarked for the Origin Season 2 launch.
