The seventh installment of Axie Infinity Origins, known as the “Rare Era ”, has officially begun, ushering in an exhilarating phase for the Lunacian community. The season, which lasts for seven weeks or 49 days, is divided into distinct eras: the Epic and Mystic phases, each lasting two weeks, followed by a one-week Final era.

The season’s pinnacle event is the Elite 8 Tournament, which will determine the ultimate champion of Season 7. More information about this tournament will be disclosed in due course. Significant updates have been rolled out, including changes to the Leaderboard reward system, increased AXP emissions, the introduction of a Collectible Leaderboard, and an expanded inventory in the Origins shop to aid players’ progression throughout the season.
One of the key innovations this season is the Hybrid Leaderboard reward system, which combines AXS and SLP tokens as rewards for top performers. The leaderboard has been extended to include the top 20,000 positions, allowing a wider range of Lunacians to compete and earn rewards. Approximately $641,000 worth of AXS and SLP tokens are up for grabs, with specific amounts allocated for each era.
Axie Infinity Increases AXP Emissions and Limits
To enhance the gaming experience in Origins, several updates have been implemented. The daily AXP limit for each axie has been raised, with the updated calculation being 1,500 times the level of the axie. For instance, an axie at level 10 is now capable of earning a maximum of 15,000 AXP per day. Additionally, the AXP emissions in the Arena have been augmented and are now proportional to the players’ ranks.
To further optimize AXP accumulation, the Origins Shop has introduced a new item, the AXP Booster. Available in three different versions, this item significantly amplifies AXP gains. This boost is especially advantageous for Collectible axies, as they are eligible for extra AXP bonuses.
This season, a trial is underway for a new Collectible Leaderboard system, exclusively designed for holders of Collectible axies. This independent leaderboard operates under its own set of rules and scoring systems and offers a total seasonal prize pool of 4,000 AXS.
