TL;DR

  • Unlocking $250 million worth of tokens in crypto gaming projects.
  • APE, PIXEL and other crypto gaming projects schedule major token unlocks.
  • Increase in prices of crypto gaming tokens, especially Ronin and his PIXEL project.

The world of blockchain-gaming is about to experience a major change with the unlocking of tokens worth a total of $250 million by the end of March 2024.

This event could trigger significant fluctuations in the prices of these tokens, thus affecting investors and users of these projects.

Notable projects include ApeCoin (APE) and Pixel, which are preparing to release a considerable amount of their tokens to the market.

ApeCoin, associated with the Bored Ape Yacht Club ecosystem, will unlock 15.6 million tokens on March 16, valued at approximately $38.2 million.

On the other hand, Pixel, a farming game developed in Ronin, will release 54.38 million tokens on March 19, worth approximately $42.5 million.

However, the project that has generated the most attention in recent days is Ronin, whose RON token has reached its all-time high, experiencing a 45% increase in the last seven days and reaching a price of $4.45.

This increase is largely attributed to the success of the game Pixel, which has generated a growing community of users and constant demand for its token.

MetalCore has captured the attention of the blockchain community  by securing $5 million in financing

MetalCore is an MMO combat game developed on blockchain by a team of experts from Unreal Engine Studio 369, Disney and Lucasfilm.

Although it has not yet been revealed which blockchain the game will be developed on, it is expected to launch before the end of 2024.

MetalCore will use blockchain technology to offer in-game assets, such as weapons and vehicles, in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which can be traded on the secondary market.

The unlocking of tokens in crypto gaming projects, rising prices in certain tokens, and the arrival of new projects like MetalCore, are indicative of the continued growth and evolution of the blockchain gaming industry.

Investors and enthusiasts in this sector should keep an eye on these developments as they could present significant opportunities in the market.
