It’s the season of sales and offers. Therefore, Splinterlands is giving Splinterfans something to cheer about. Following the successful completion of its presale, it is launching the phase 2 of its pack sales. It also gave details of other rounds of sales that will follow. This announcement came via its Peakd page. Here are the details of Chaos Legion Second Pack Sale.
Details of the Chaos Legion Second Pack Sale
The phase 2 or second pack of the Chaos Legion sale is scheduled for the 8th of December 2021. It will continue till Wednesday the 12th of January 2021 or when the packs are all sold out. In this phase 2 of sales, there will be two million packs available for sale. Just like with the presale, the second phase will also follow the voucher airdrop system.
There will be two airdrop cards from the total of available 13. Users who purchase packs during the presale and phase 2 sale will be eligible will be available for this airdrops. Pack users will receive them in their chaos legion set shortly after the second phase ends on the 12th of January 2022. The airdrop will continue even if Splinterlands does not sell out all two million packs.
For every pack buyers purchase, they will require one VOUCHER token. This does not include the bonus packs. Therefore, there will be a total of two million VOUCHERsgiven to users who stake SPS tokens. To partake in this airdrop, you will have to stake SPS within 30 days – from the 8th of December. From the 7th of January 2022, users who staked their tokens will get VOUCHERs at the rate of 20,000 per day.
General Pack Sale to Follow
With the phase 2 of sales ending on the 12th of January 2022, the general sale will kick in by Monday the 17th of January 2022. In this general sale, there will be 12 million packs available for sale. If there are any unsold packs from thee second pack sale, it will also be added to the general sale. Unlike in previous sales, buyers will no longer require VOUCHER tokens to purchase packs. The packs will sell for $4 per pack.
Although users do not need tokens to buy packs, they will still need them to receive bonus packs. Buyers will also need that token when making large purchases in a single transaction. From this round of sale on the 8th of December, players will only be able to purchase packs by using credits. Packs will no longer be bought using DEC or SPS tokens.
