Pixels Announces Community Events and Deadline for Item Exchange

TL;DR

  • Pixels is hosting an AMA and a farewell party this week for players.
  • The Cookie Crumb-Trail event deadline is Friday, January 23.
  • Players must exchange old items for currency before January 31 archiving.

The online game Pixels informed its users about two community events scheduled for this week. The announcement also includes an urgent reminder about an item exchange that ends soon. Players have limited time to take action.

An AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) event is set for Wednesday, January 21, 2026. This virtual meeting will start at 5 PM UTC. The stream will take place on YouTube or the X platform. Game developers will answer community questions live.

Farewell Party with Rewards for Creators

On Thursday, January 23 at the same time, another event will occur inside the game. The Pixels team, along with content creators like Silverwing and Apax, will host a party. The celebration will take place on the Winter Map and will serve as the finale for the “Cookie Crumb-Trail” event. Activities will include in-game cookie plate decorating. The organizers will also highlight notable work from community creators. The party will offer prizes for attending participants. The live stream will be handled by Silverwing.

Pixels Chapter 2 is Now Live With Major Upgrades: Here are the Details

The company reminded players that the deadline to join the “Cookie Crumb-Trail” in Terra Villa is approaching. Players have until Friday, January 23 at 7:00 PM UTC to complete the activities. After that date, the opportunity to decorate cookie plates and hunt for rewards will close.

A separate and urgent notice concerns old in-game items

Pixels will permanently archive a list of items on January 31. Players can exchange those items for Buoy Bucks, the game’s currency, immediately. The process is done at the “Seaside Stash” store, specifically under the sell tab. The company recommends completing the exchange as soon as possible to avoid losing the items’ value.

The list of items subject to archiving is extensive. However, the communication clarifies that some items will be exempt from this process. Objects that players can keep include Heartbeet, Shorelime, Shorelemon, and the three varieties of Pixels flowers (Astra, Terra, and Aqua). All other items mentioned in the official announcement will disappear from active inventories after the deadline.
