Details of the DG Weekly #100
Kicking off the DG Weekly #100 is the Holiday Giveaway campaign. As we draw closer to Christmas, Decentral Games brings Santa Claus to its community members. Users will receive gifts like season-themed skins, sweaters and many other freebies during this period. The team also promised to issue a full announcement regarding this event by Monday, the 19th of December 2022.
Below are some of the items to anticipate in this period:

- Snowman, Gingerbread, and other Tournament skins
- 5 types of holiday sweaters

On the other hand, Decentral Games is ready to introduce more newbies to its ecosystem. The team has introduced a more straightforward sign-in method for players new to web3. Henceforth, you can now create a new account or wallet using your email address, Twitter account to Discord username. This is a great initiative, as many newbies are not accustomed to the blockchain signing-in methods.
Speaking of which, the team has also added new wallet integrations. You can now sign in using your Rainbow or Coinbase wallet. Unlike the old pattern, this is far easier and only takes a few clicks. The new onboarding measures are a significant milestone. In this regard, the gaming ecosystem believes it will usher more players into the ICE Poker Community. This is because external wallets will no longer be a barrier to players.
Besides account access, the purchasing system is now more scalable. Players can now buy wearables directly from the ICE Poker Flex app. They can even see the details and prices of items they want to acquire.
The CoinGecko Airdrop and Takeover Party
CoinGecko is co-hosting an event on the 22nd of December in collaboration with Decentral Games. Joined by DJ Bufalo, this activity features the new Gecko skin, ICE Poker competitions, and rare POAP. The skins have already been airdropped to the winners. This occasion is free and open to everyone. It will run from 3:00 am to 04:00 am (UTC+1).
