Decentraland’s Music Festival returns to Genesis City from November 19–22, 2025, with a bold new theme: SUB/STREAM. With $10,000 in awards up for grabs, Decentraland invites communities and performers to claim their place in the lineup through two open calls: Party Pads and Main Stage performances.
SUB/STREAM: From Stream to Stage
SUB/STREAM reimagines streaming as a spatial experience, turning virtual broadcasts into interactive destinations. The festival will pair global headliners with emerging talent and repurpose underused parcels in Genesis City into permanent cultural spaces. The goal is to elevate stream-native artists and their communities by giving them a stage that lives beyond the broadcast.
Claim Your Party Pad: $1,000 in MANA + Yearlong Exposure
Party Pads are 2×2 digital hubs designed for collectives who bring energy, culture, and audience. These custom-built spaces allow communities to stream DJ sets, host watch parties, drop exclusive Wearables, and showcase their projects. Chosen groups will get $1,000 in MANA, a custom-built Party Pad through Creator Connect, a year of exhibition time, and official promotion for the festival. Applications close September 22, with installations set for October 28.
Referral Awards: Earn 500 MANA for Connecting Communities
Decentraland is also rewarding those who help build the festival’s network. Anyone can recommend a community to apply for a Party Pad. If selected, the referrer earns 500 MANA. Multiple referrals will split the award. Payments will be made in MANA on September 30, based on the closing exchange rate from September 29. This initiative highlights the power of community connections in shaping the festival’s cultural landscape.
Perform on the Main Stage: $500 in MANA + Global Spotlight
Eight new performers will join the Main Stage lineup alongside stream-native pioneers. Eligible acts include VTubers, virtual bands, live electronic musicians, and performance artists blending music with visuals. Selected artists receive $500 in MANA, a one-hour slot during the festival, promotion to Decentraland’s 600k+ followers, and spotlight placement in the official program. Applications close September 22, with technical tests scheduled for late October.
