Guidelines for the Creatorverse Buildathon Competition
The competition has two categories of builds. These are Meeting spaces and Music venues. The Meeting Space includes parks, market squares, and headquarters, among others while the Music Venue covers concert halls, music clubs, and festival stages, among others.
Interested participants can enter the same build for the two categories or submit a build for an individual category. The build must fit into a 2×2 Decentraland plot. Participants can enter as individuals or form a team.
A team of up to three people can enter and find teammates, ParcelNFT recommends that you post “looking for collaborators” in the Discord Channel of Parcel. It is worth mentioning that experienced builders are available to help participants with any questions they may have on technical requirements, rendering issues, roadblocks, and other issues.
When participating as a team, a teammate should be assigned as the captain and will be responsible for completing the entry form. The team captain will also receive the prize on behalf of the team members at the end of the competition and distribute it among members.
Participants should note that their submission will be judged based on three criteria, which are Execution, Creativity, and Interactiveness.
How to Submit an Entry
The first step is to create a Parcel’s Creatorverse profile. If you are participating as a team, all team members must create a profile. Next, add your build as a new project to the Creatorverse platform.
The entry should include written descriptions, videos, images, and other files. Each member of the team must be tagged as a collaborator on the project. Next, fill out the Google Entry Form and send it. Your submitted build must be compatible with Decentraland and ready for publishing.
