The trading card game by Immutable, Gods Unchained, has announced the return of its Community Tournament. The first for the year, tagged “Starter Decks Around the World,” is slated to hold from February 11 to February 13, 2023.
Participants can compete in one of three events depending on their location. The events can earn the participants a spot in the Main Event, which holds from February 18 to February 19, 2023.

How to Register for the Community Tournaments
The first step is to create a Gods Unchained account on the official website. Next, click the “Join Tournament” button on the platform and then proceed to join the game’s Discord Server. Interested participants must join the games Discord channel to avoid getting disqualified.
Gods Unchained stated that it will coordinate the matches in the #matchmaking channel and help players through the same channel. Admins would be on the ground to answer users’ questions. After joining the Discord channel, participants must navigate to the Account Settings menu.
From here, they can add their Game Name username in the Platform Links tab. With this, it becomes easier to challenge opponents on the day of the tournament. The details of the registration process are available on the Twitter page of the game platform.
Highlights of the Tournament Format
According to Gods Unchained, all matches are best of three, and the start time is 4 pm EST on February 12. The first round is a Round Robin and participants must face off against other participants in their group.
The top two from each group move to the elimination stage, where they continue playing until only 16 players are remaining. The top 16 will move on to the Prize Winning Tournament with players from other regions. The prize pool for the event is $6000 for the top 64 participants.
By holding a place in the top 32, you get an invitation to the prize-winning tournament. The prize structure for the prize-winning tournament is available on the game’s Discord channel.
Gods Unchained mentioned that it will distribute the Community Gaming payouts immediately after the end of the tournament. It will send the prizes based on schedules, and the typical waiting time may be between two and twelve weeks after the end of the tournament.
