The news, which was announced recently, highlights Google Cloud’s commitment to Web3 and its interest in contributing to growth and innovation in the blockchain-based gaming industry.

“Validators” in a blockchain have the crucial role of verifying and confirming transactions to maintain the integrity of the network.
In the case of XPLA, these volunteer validators are not rewarded with tokens, as these are distributed to the broader community.

XPLA, which has been created by major South Korean game publisher Com2uS, is home to a number of notable games such as The Walking Dead: All-Stars, Summoner’s War: Chronicles, and Ace Fishing: Crew.
These games have been adapted to offer unique gaming experiences on the XPLA blockchain, following the “play to own” model.
In addition to Google Cloud, other prominent validators on the XPLA network include Animoca Brands and Gumi.
