MetalCore Season 1: MetalPunks Rhapsody Kicks Off Today!

MetalCore has announced that its first season, called “MetalPunks Rhapsody,” will be available to the public starting September 13, 2024, after completing three closed beta testing phases.

This new stage of the game introduces a theme centered on the MetalPunks, exploring their story and in-game context. Players will be able to compete on various leaderboards, with the option to enhance their experience through premium tiers that offer additional advantages.

The rewards system for Season 1 includes 90 million $MCG tokens available as prizes between September 13 and October 11. This amount is distributed as follows: 40 million tokens will be awarded to the top 500 players in the Missions mode, 25 million to the top 100 players in the PvX mode, and another 25 million to the top 50 players in the PvP mode. Players will be ranked on the leaderboards based on points earned in the different game modes: Marks in Missions, Merit in PvX, and Valor in PvP.

Additionally, MetalCore introduces premium tiers that players can acquire through Shards and Holy Credits, which can be earned by playing or purchased. The available tiers are Bronze, Silver, and Gold, each offering specific benefits such as increased point gain percentages, reduced repair times, and access to exclusive in-game units like mechs, aircraft, and heavy infantry. These tiers must be purchased and managed from the game’s account screen.

MetalCore has also improved the user experience by upgrading the game to the Unreal Engine 5 (UE5), promising enhanced graphics, superior performance, and an optimized gameplay experience. New missions have been introduced, and the tutorial system for new players has been refined, along with improvements to the lobby system and the addition of Barony Wars, where players can engage in strategic 10 vs. 10 battles.

Those interested in joining the action can download MetalCore from the Epic Games Store starting September 12, one day before the official start of the season.
