Nyan Heroes has revealed important updates in its “Heroes Hangout” event on Discord, where Co-founder and Creative Director Max Fu, along with Community Lead Tyler Nolin, shared the latest updates on the game’s development, new features for the upcoming Pre-Alpha Playtest 3, and details of the next Airdrop.
The upcoming Pre-Alpha Playtest 3 of Nyan Heroes is scheduled to begin on September 4. Early access started on August 22 for Nyan Genesis NFT holders and KOLs. This playtest will introduce new classes, a new game mode, a unique map, and an Add-ons system that will allow players to customize their mechs with specific bonuses.

Among the new classes, the highlights are the Scout (Blitz), an agile Guardian with electric abilities, and the Mage, a fragile but powerful character that uses arcane abilities to overcome enemies.
Additionally, the new game mode “Payload” will pit two teams against each other in an attack and defense dynamic where one team must escort a moving objective to the final checkpoint, while the other team tries to stop its advance. This mode will be accompanied by a new map called “Erebus.” A secret base located in Antarctica with design features exclusive to Nyan characters.
The studio has also strengthened its team with the hiring of a new lead designer for economy and monetization. Who will oversee the integration of progression and reward systems. As well as the implementation of the $NYAN token into the game’s economy.
