Additionally, a new patrol modifier called “Shield Overload” has been implemented. This modifier increases the player’s shield durability but simultaneously prevents it from recharging. Players will need to prepare adequately before embarking on their missions, as this new mechanic introduces an additional challenge in combat against enemies like the Xanorra, making strategy crucial.
Regarding player experience, the rewards for experience (XP) obtained in patrols have been increased, allowing players to advance more quickly in their levels. Players have also been encouraged to use consumables during their patrols, as this can enhance efficiency in XP collection.
Phantom Galaxies Works on Bugs and Gameplay Improvement
The update also addresses a number of technical issues. Login problems that affected some users due to a certificate update in an external server provider have been resolved. Now, players will be able to access the game without inconveniences. The persistent damage particle effects from ships, specifically those generated by “Zappy Boi,” one of the ships in the patrols, have also been eliminated.
Audio updates have been made to the Halberd-001 station to enhance the atmosphere of the environment. Furthermore, patrol modifiers now reset correctly upon respawn, and the performance of loot drops has been optimized, ensuring players receive more satisfactory rewards.
However, some known issues have been noted, such as the interaction with the character Arman to select his wingman mission. Which can lead to unintended consequences. Players are advised to maintain a proper distance when interacting with him to avoid these issues. Although it is suggested that the character Charleanne is a better option.
This update demonstrates the developers’ commitment to the continuous improvement of the gaming experience in Phantom Galaxies. Addressing both new content and technical problem resolution
