The virtual gaming metaverse, The Sandbox, has announced the launch of its Alpha Season 3. The event, which will run for ten weeks, is slated to premiere on August 24, 2022. Gamers have been advised to buckle their seatbelts as they prepare for another amazing summer fun in the metaverse.
It is worth mentioning that the Sandbox Alpha Season 3 is open to all, and it is free to attend. However, participants must have a TSB account to allow them to gain access to over 90 experiences, level up and progress in the game.
They can complete quests, receive Ethos Points, and participate in the Leaderboard and Raffle to stand a chance to win an Alpha Pass and Earn Sand rewards.

Highlights of Playable Experiences
According to The platform, participants will have access to over 90 playable experiences within the ten weeks of the event. Gamers will have the opportunity to play the biggest season available in The Sandbox and also discover multiplayer and solo experiences that will put them on the edge of their seats.
There will be 27 different experiences from The Sandbox brand partners. These brands include Snoop Dogg, Deadmau5, The Walking Dead, Warner Music Group, Sueco, Ubisoft’s Rabbids, World of Women, BAYC, and Steve Aoki.
There will also be 20 exciting experiences from The Sandbox Game Maker Fund and another 12 user-generated content experiences from independent creators. 16 more experiences will come from Game Jams.
Introducing External Avatar
The Sandbox has announced that it will add a new twist on interoperability during the season. The team already voxelized avatars successfully from 13 favorite NFT collections. These will be playable in The Sandbox Alpha Season 3.
There will be over 140,000 playable avatars, which will give players the freedom to play in a Rabbids game experience with Steve Aoki avatars. Players can also explore experiences with The Walking Dead using Bored Ape Yacht Club avatars. They can also party with the new resident DJ Steve Aoki at Club XYZ. More experiences are available to participants at the event.
Introducing Guaranteed Rewards for Holders
This new season features a new system to ensure players receive rewards for supporting The Sandbox project. Gamers that hold specific NFTs for the duration of the Alpha season will receive SANDs.
Players can also compete for the leaderboard and stand a chance to win from the prize pool of 1.5 million SANDs. All you have to do is earn more Ethos Points and get ranked as you complete quests.
The first-ranked player in the leaderboard will receive 30,000 SANDs. There are various events that players can participate in for fun and earnings in the Alpha Season 3 event.
