Warner Music Group has partnered with The Sandbox, the decentralized virtual gaming platform, to launch a new game titled “Breakin’ B.I.G.”. Inspired by side-scrolling games from the 1990s, the game aims to provide a unique experience centered around the legendary rapper Notorious B.I.G.
Scheduled for release in December, the game is set in a Brooklyn neighborhood during the 1990s. Players take on the role of an aspiring rapper looking to make a mark in the music industry. The plot involves interaction with Biggie and other characters, completing missions, earning the respect of The Notorious B.I.G., confronting challengers to Biggie’s influence, and revitalizing Brooklyn neighborhoods.
