The Sandbox Opens Easter VoxEdit Contest for Registration with 20,000 $SAND Prize Pool

The Sandbox has opened the Easter VoxEdit Contest for registration. This competition commemorates with the religious event that is around the corner. The team is calling on creative individuals to capture the essence of this period. Interested participants can design eggs, flowers, pastel colors, etc.

The Sandbox is setting aside 20,000 $SAND for the purpose of this contest. Meanwhile, there will be two categories, namely Regular and Beginner Friendly. This has become a common practice in recent times by the blockchain gaming outfit. The idea is to encourage participation from users who are not exactly expert designers.

Below is a breakdown of the different prizes for each class.

Regular (15,000 $SAND):

  • 1st position: 6,000 $SAND
  • 2nd position: 3,500 $SAND
  • 3rd position: 2,000 $SAND
  • 4th to 10th positions: 500 $SAND each

Beginner-friendly (5,000 $SAND):

  • 1st position: 1,500 $SAND
  • 2nd position: 1,000 $SAND
  • 3rd position: 750 $SAND
  • 4th to 10th positions: 250 $SAND each

The Sandbox Easter VoxEdit Contest

The Sandbox Easter VoxEdit Contest opens for registration on the 27th of March. Interested creators have from that date till 11:59 PM UTC on the 9th of April to submit their entries. Within this period, participants must make designs that resonate with the season. Their submissions must be fully animated digital assets.

After completing the design, users must tweet their GIF, then tag @VoxEdit, and @TheSandboxGame on Twitter. They must also use the #VoxEditWeekly hashtags in their tweets. Once they have tweeted their entry, they must fill out Google forms as it correspond with their entries.

Meanwhile, anyone who finished among the top 5 positions of the last 3 VoxEdit contests is restricted from joining this edition of the competition. Nevertheless, constants can submit entries into both the Regular and beginner Friendly categories. However, they can only win prizes from either class, not both.

Participants must submit high-quality work, as poorly-designed entries will be disqualified. Similarly, plagiarized content will also be nullified. People must create characters that are original, not lifted from already-existing comics from comics. They must also refrain from designing sexual, homophobic, or racist submissions.

Nonetheless, artists can partner with external brands and add their logos when they create designs. However, these digital assets cannot be minted on The Sandbox marketplace. Interested participants should also read through the VoxEdit Contest Guidelines.
