WAGMI Defense Launched Closed Beta on Google Play

TL;DR

  • WAGMI Defense has started its final beta phase on Google Play, with a global release scheduled for December 12th.
  • The launch includes a gradual rollout of three stages to test functionality and gameplay.
  • New features are expected after launch, including a Battle Pass and daily quests.

The WAGMI Defense community has received exciting news: the final beta phase of the game is now available on Google Play in a limited access format.

This gradual rollout will allow the developers to assess the blockchain-game stability and functionality before its global launch, scheduled for December 12th on both Google Play and the App Store.

According to the official information released by WAGMI Games, access to the beta will be progressive, starting with a small group of players and expanding to more users throughout the week.

This approach aims to ensure optimal server performance and smooth operation of the Immutable zkEVM technology used to manage NFT assets.

In this final phase, WAGMI Defense has implemented significant improvements across all aspects of the game.

The beta will be carried out in three distinct stages, each designed to test key components of gameplay and the economic system within the Immutable zkEVM environment.

The main objective is to ensure a smooth transition between the previous Immutable-X infrastructure and the new one, maximizing accuracy and security in tracking player resources.

Beta Launch Process and Game Features

In the first beta stage, players will have access to core gameplay through guest accounts, with no progress being saved.

In this phase, players can experience the core gameplay loop, combat with bots and other players, and card management.

In the second stage, players will be able to connect their Passport accounts to access additional content and recover progress and resources from previous betas.

This phase will also allow purchases in the in-game store and card trading in the secondary market, focusing on pre-season cards.

For the third and final stage, an improved tutorial will be included, guiding new players through their first steps in the game.

Additionally, experience rewards and medals will be activated, which will reset for Season 1 on December 12th, aligning with the global release.

The goal here is to evaluate the user experience and identify any bugs before the full launch.

The WAGMI Defense team has also communicated that several features will be available shortly after the release.

These include a Battle Pass, daily quests, player notifications, and an in-app NFT marketplace.

Furthermore, there are plans to gradually roll out hero abilities, improve deployment mechanics, and provide visual assistance for unit placement.

Adjustments to the game’s economy and the introduction of alliances, referral systems, and campaigns are also in the works.

Players who have access to this beta are invited to share their feedback and report bugs to contribute to the game’s refinement.

With this rollout, WAGMI Defense aims to provide a high-quality gaming experience at its global launch, fulfilling its promise to offer an engaging and competitive experience for its entire community.
