GensoKishi Online has announced scheduled maintenance for December 5, 2024, from 5:00 to 9:00 (Japan Standard Time). During this time, the game service will be inaccessible to users. The maintenance will include several updates and improvements to the game, as well as the resolution of various technical issues.

One of the key updates is the celebration of the holiday season within the game, which will include visual changes to some maps, such as the addition of snow and Christmas decorations. This update aims to provide players with a festive atmosphere during this period.

GensoKishi to Re-release the “Beginner Support Gacha”

Additionally, the “Beginner Support Gacha,” originally launched on November 28, 2024, will be re-released due to high demand. This gacha is designed to help new players get started in the game, and its content, which includes prizes and items, will remain the same as in the previous version.

Regarding the competitive aspect, the maintenance will also include important fixes to the “Sky Arena” PvP map. Issues with the “Body Block” and “Resolute Defender” skills of the Guardians, which were not functioning correctly in PvP areas, have been resolved. Additionally, a bug that reduced self-inflicted damage from certain skills to one-tenth of its intended value has been fixed. Now, the damage will match that of regular maps.

Maintenance Focused on Bug Fixes

Another important aspect is the preparation for future Creator Sandbox (CS) updates. As part of this preparation, a backup of data from the Japan and Singapore regions will be performed. Players will need to link their email address in order to access the CS environment once it becomes available.

Additionally, the functionality of videos in the Elrond Mall has been expanded, allowing videos to be maximized when tapped, and some will include a link button directing users to sponsor and partner websites. Lastly, an NPC has been placed in the amusement park in the game for a Suzume Senpai collaboration campaign, where participants can receive rewards such as a repair tool, 500,000 mMV, or a Ramen Card.

The maintenance will also address several technical issues, including problems with the effects of certain foods, disconnections when watching ads, and UI glitches. Affected players will receive compensation for the resolved issues.
