Guild Of Guardians Launches New Exclusive Festive Skins for the Christmas Seasons

TL;DR

  • Guild of Guardians introduces limited-time Christmas skins for Atticus, Grisell, and Ennara, featuring themes inspired by Santa Claus, candy canes, and frosty elements.
  • The appearances for Atticus and Grisell can be obtained in the store through Chroma Vouchers, while Ennara’s skin will be exclusive to a special leaderboard event.
  • Chroma Vouchers are consumable, non-transferable, overwrite the Guardian’s current appearance, and will not be available for future sales.

Guild of Guardians has announced the arrival of festive new skins as part of this year’s Christmas celebrations. These appearances, referred to as “chromas,” will be available for a limited time and are designed for three specific characters: Atticus, Grisell, and Ennara.

The new chromas are themed around Christmas. The “Santa Atticus” skin dresses the character in a Santa Claus-inspired outfit. Meanwhile, “Candycane Grisell” includes attire that evokes a candy cane. On the other hand, Ennara receives the “Frost Queen” skin, featuring a design with frosty, icy elements.

How to Acquire Guild of Guardians’ New Chromas

The acquisition of these chromas will be implemented through different methods. The appearances for Atticus and Grisell will be obtainable through the in-game store. However, they can only be applied to the Radiant (NFT) versions of these characters. Players who do not own these versions have the option to acquire a special bundle called the Holiday Bundle. This package includes both Atticus and Grisell, along with the resources needed to ascend them to their Radiant version and the vouchers required to apply the festive skins.

On the other hand, the “Frost Queen Ennara” appearance will not be available in the store. This skin can only be obtained as a reward in a special leaderboard event, with further details expected to be announced soon.

The announced chromas require the use of “Chroma Conversion Vouchers,” consumable resources that allow a specific appearance to be applied to a Guardian. However, these vouchers are non-transferable, and once used, they overwrite the Guardian’s current appearance, permanently removing the previous chroma.

The development team has confirmed that the appearances presented during this event will not be available for future sales. However, there is a possibility that a limited number may be distributed as additional rewards. Furthermore, it was clarified that the decision not to offer chromas directly as rewards stems from efforts to avoid inflationary impacts on in-game resources and the game’s internal economy.

With this update, Guild of Guardians aims to assess community interest in cosmetic customization systems, as the game currently lacks a mechanism that allows players to freely switch between applied skins. Lastly, the selection of the Guardians Atticus, Grisell, and Ennara was explained as a decision to prioritize characters with broader accessibility, avoiding interference with limited editions or more exclusive categories
