The play-to-earn game metaverse, Axie infinity, has launched a new contest: Seas The Day. It offers participants an opportunity to win limited-time borders, avatars, and stickers. The contest is slated to run from February 27 to March 6, 2023.
The event is an Axie Origins contest that allows gamers to earn different rewards, including moon shards. The event entails a simple task. Participants only have to use their Aqua axies to craft Aqua class charms, win battles, and buy/release items.

According to the game platform, it has included some new types of missions across Aqua body parts for more adventurous players.
Highlights of Event Mission
As mentioned, participants have to complete specific missions to get to the leaderboard. As they complete these milestones, they earn points. The highlights of these tasks are as follows:
- Win a Ranked or Practice Arena Battle in Origins: 1 Point
- Win a Ranked or Practice Arena Battle in Origins with a minimum of one Aqua Axie: 3 Points.
- Win a Ranked or Practice Arena Battle in Origins with three Aqua Axies: 6 Points
- Craft an Aqua Rune: 35 Points
- Craft an Aqua Charm: 35 Points
- Win a Ranked or Practice Arena Battle in Origin with a minimum of one Aqua Eyes part in your team: 25 Points
- Win a Ranked or Practice Battle in Origins with a minimum of one Aqua Mouth part in your team: 25 Points
- Win a Ranked or Practice Arena Battle in Origins with a minimum of one Aqua Back part in your team: 25 Points.
- Win a Ranked or Practice Arena Battle in Origins with a minimum of one Aqua Tail part in your team: 25 Points.
- Win a Ranked or Practice Arena Battle in Origins with a minimum of Aqua Horn part in your team: 25 Points.
- Purchase an Aqua Axie: 30 Points
- Release an Aqua Axie: 30 Points
Highlights of Bonus Tasks for the Contest
The game platform also listed some bonus activities that can earn participants some points. These include winning an Arena Battle in Origins with any Christmas, Japanese, Summer, or Shiny Aqua Axie. This task earns the player 250 points.
Players who win an Arena Battle in Origins with any Origin Aqua Axie also win 500 points, and those that win an Arena Battle in Origins with any Mystic Aqua Axie get 750 Points.
