- $CHECK launches November 12, introducing a unified currency for gaming, education, and AI-driven creative platforms.
- Players earn and spend $CHECK in Anichess for tournaments, collectibles, and gameplay progression within the Checkmate network.
The Checkmate network will introduce $CHECK as its primary digital currency, operating across its integrated platforms dedicated to gaming, education, and AI-assisted creativity.
Purpose and Use of $CHECK
$CHECK will function as both a currency and a reward tool throughout the Checkmate network. It will first appear in Anichess, a chess-based strategy game developed by Animoca Brands in partnership with Chess.com. Within Anichess, players will use the token for tournament entries, progression systems, and NFT-linked collectibles.
The utility of $CHECK will later expand to include additional formats, such as King’s Gambit and other digital competitions and creative applications. Each use case reinforces the token’s role in player engagement and economic activity across the platform.

Governance and System Infrastructure
Governance will evolve into a DAO Council structure, where holders of $CHECK can participate in decision-making through Checkmate Improvement Proposals (CIPs). The broader framework incorporates several components:
- A Digital Passport, tracking each player’s profile and performance.
- An Asset Framework, allowing players to manage digital property and collectibles.
- A Data Registry, maintaining transparency and accuracy of match results and rankings.
- This structure is designed to support transparent operations and long-term user participation.
Tokenomics and Distribution
The total supply of $CHECK is fixed at 1 billion tokens. Allocation will follow a structured plan:
- Player Rewards: 39.38%
- Ecosystem & Treasury: 20.0%
- Investors: 13.62%
- Team: 10.0%
- Liquidity: 7.0%
- Operational Expenses: 4.0%
- Advisors: 4.0%
- Kaito Launchpad: 2.0%
This distribution model prioritizes player incentives, operational continuity, and sustained ecosystem growth. It also ensures liquidity for market access and rewards early contributors.
Integration in Gaming and AI Learning Platforms
Checkmate aims to connect gaming with educational content and AI-driven creation tools. Anichess, already hosting over 340,000 players and recording 6 million minutes of gameplay, will be the first to implement $CHECK. Players will use the token to compete, create, and access advanced features within the network.
The November 12 release marks the beginning of $CHECK’s full functionality. Interested participants can prepare by linking compatible wallets and reviewing the platform’s participation requirements. The launch positions $CHECK as a functional asset bridging gaming, creative activity, and decentralized governance in a unified digital economy.
