CyberVerse launches Neo‑Pass, a 50‑tier seasonal progression with multi‑chain token rewards

  • CyberVerse launched the 50-tier Neo-Pass reward system on March 4, 2026, for all players.
  • Players earn EXP by completing in-game tasks to obtain seasonal NFTs and items each level.
  • Premium users compete on exclusive leaderboards to earn $CYPX, $RON, and $ERG tokens.

CyberVerse introduced its new seasonal progression system, the Neo-Pass, on March 4, 2026. The update for the browser-based MMORPG introduces a 50-tier structure with rewards that combine digital items, NFTs, and tokens from multiple blockchains. The game, set in the dystopian world of Cyberia, seeks to deepen player retention through a model offering both a free and a premium track, with the latter reserving an exclusive leaderboard.

The Neo-Pass operates on an experience points (EXP) system. Players accumulate EXP by completing tasks within the open world of CyberVerse, which includes mini-games, economic activities like mining and farming, and property management. Each level completed unlocks specific benefits, ranging from consumable items and in-game currency to seasonal NFTs. Premium pass holders access an additional layer of competition: a leaderboard that distributes rewards in cryptocurrencies among the top-ranked players.

A multi-token reward model

The prize structure of the Neo-Pass reflects CyberVerse’s expansion across different blockchain networks. Players on the premium tier compete for tokens from three distinct sources. They earn $CYPX, the game’s native CyberPixels currency built on Ergo, which functions as the backbone for internal transactions. They also receive $ERG, the main token of the Ergo network, and $RON, the token of the Ronin network.

The inclusion of $RON gains relevance following the recent addition of the GEN4 CyberCitizen collection on Ronin, which added 3,000 playable characters to the game’s universe. CyberVerse conceives this diversification as a way to maintain equitable conditions for users from different backgrounds.

Since its initial launch in 2023 on the Ergo blockchain, the game’s team has expanded its presence to Cardano and Ronin. The persistent world of Cyberia allows users to own assets such as CyberCars or customized apartments, in addition to participating in a player-driven market. The arrival of the Neo-Pass adds a seasonal rhythm to these mechanics, incentivizing recurring activity through time-limited objectives and rewards.

To accompany the launch, CyberVerse activated a promotion on its social media channels. Interested players must interact with the announcement post, share it, and submit a Ronin wallet address in the comments. The giveaway, which will remain open for 48 hours, will award one free premium pass to a winner, adding a social component to the deployment of the new feature.
