DeFi Kingdoms has officially launched its Colosseum, bringing Player vs Player (PvP) combat to the forefront. One of the key features of this new addition is the Tournament Battle Inventory system. Each tournament will utilize a Battle Inventory of 60 Stone, allowing players to bring a variety of Consumables into battle.
Consumables, such as Potions and Smoke Bombs, are assigned a weight in units of Stone based on their impact. For example, a Health Vial weighs 3 Stone, while a more powerful Swiftness Potion weighs 9 Stone. This system provides players with flexibility and strategic options, enabling them to prepare for various scenarios.
Battle Budget
In addition to the Battle Inventory, each match within a tournament will have a Battle Budget. The Battle Budget determines how many Consumables can be used in a single match. Currently, the default Battle Budget is set at 11 Stone.
This means that players can use up to 11 Stone worth of Consumables in each match, drawing from their Battle Inventory. Any unused Consumables are returned to the player at the end of the match. This system emphasizes real-time decision-making and resource management, as players must carefully choose which Consumables to use and when to use them.
Tournament Structure
When registering for a tournament, players will designate their team and provide their Battle Inventory. The default Battle Inventory of 60 Stone allows players to bring a variety of Consumables into the tournament. As players progress through the rounds, the Battle Budget for each match remains at 11 Stone.
For example, in a 16-player tournament, a player could use a maximum of 44 Stone out of their 60 Stone Inventory across four matches. In a 32-player tournament, the maximum usage would be 55 Stone. This structure ensures that players have enough resources to compete effectively while also encouraging strategic planning.
Future Updates
The Battle Budget and Battle Inventory values are flexible and may change in future tournaments. Players are advised to check the specific tournament settings for final values.
