DeFi Kingdoms Introduces PvP Tournaments

TL;DR

  • DeFi Kingdoms launches PvP tournaments on the Metis blockchain, with a series of competitions over six months.
  • Over $75,000 in prizes, including exclusive NFTs, and opportunities to vote and earn rewards.
  • The tournaments include multiple stages, from “Daily Skirmishes” to the All-Star Tournament, with prizes and XP at each level.

DeFi Kingdoms has launched a new feature focused on player-vs-player (PvP) competitive tournaments on its platform, utilizing the Metis blockchain.

This new tournament series will begin on February 26 and last for six months, with progressively more challenging competitions. The event will culminate in an All-Star Tournament that will bring together the best players from around the world.

Throughout the tournaments, prizes worth over $75,000 in cash or equivalent, along with exclusive NFTs and other prizes, will be distributed. This tournament system is not designed solely for highly competitive players but also offers opportunities for those who prefer to participate in other ways, such as watching matches and voting for winners to earn rewards.

DeFi Kingdoms: How Will the Tournaments Work?

The tournaments will be structured in several stages. Initially, players will participate in “Daily Skirmishes,” held twice a day, Monday through Friday, with prizes in qualifying tokens that will allow players to progress to the “Weekend Warriors” tournaments, held twice a week. The top players from these tournaments will advance to the “Champion Invitational” competitions, held monthly. Finally, the top performers from these rounds will face off in the All-Star Tournament, where the champion will win a $10,000 cash prize.

For those who do not wish to participate directly in the tournaments, there is the option to get involved through the match sponsorship system. This system allows players to use their influence to predict the outcomes and vote for winners, earning rewards for their correct predictions.

The tournament format will be single-elimination, with multiple prizes for the top spots in each category. Additionally, all participants will earn experience (XP) for each match won or lost within the tournaments. There is also an alternative path called “Revengers,” which offers another chance to reach the All-Star Tournament for those players who did not advance directly from the initial competitions.
