On February 6, 2025, Gensokishi Online announced a maintenance update that includes various improvements and adjustments within its ecosystem. This maintenance took place between 5:00 and 9:00 UTC and affected several aspects of the game and platform.
One of the most relevant changes is the update to the MV Wallet, which now allows the import and export of NFTs for materials and consumable items. This improvement facilitates asset transfer within the game, offering users more options for managing their items. Additionally, the MV Wallet can now be directly connected to the GENSO Marketplace, improving integration between the platforms. A problem that caused the screen to freeze after completing transactions with MV, ROND, and NFTs was also resolved.

Adjustments to ROND Ore Distribution
Regarding in-game resources, the distribution of ROND ores has been adjusted. Since January 30, 2025, the distribution of these ores had been modified to stabilize the supply of lower-value ores, such as 20, 30, and 40 ROND. However, ores worth 2, 3, and 10 ROND remain scarce, prompting a new revision.
With this maintenance, the availability of scarce ores will increase, and the replenishment rates for 20, 30, and 40 ROND ores will be adjusted. Changes have also been made to the rewards obtained from monsters in certain game zones, such as Castellum Aurora Hall and Bandit Rock, to correct the imbalance in rewards.
Gensokishi Will Allow Avoiding Death Penalties by Watching Ads
Furthermore, Gensokishi introduced a system that allows players to avoid death penalties. Currently, when a player dies, they experience a 1% reduction in experience points and skill experience points. In the mobile version, an option has been added to let players avoid this penalty by watching an ad before returning to a safe location.
Finally, several updates were made to the NPC shop. Judy in Elrond Castle Town and Klim and Plica in Fool’s Wasteland (S) now offer higher-level potions. Providing more options for players to enhance their performance in the game. Technical issues were also resolved, such as improving item drop rules and fixing visual errors after watching video ads.
This maintenance aims to improve gameplay and user experience by adjusting the in-game economy and correcting technical issues that were affecting system fluidity
