Mist Metaverse is set to open its pre alpha to enable Mac users to participate in this event. Players with these devices will get to test different aspects of the game, while killing monsters and bosses. In addition, they will be opportune to complete quest and make friends as they interact with other players. This comes after the launch of the second testnet phase on the 30th of October 2022.

Earlier, the team had issued various whitelist spots in collaboration with other partners since December 2022. However, there were limitations and players had to meet certain requirements to join the gameplay. In addition to that, these opportunities did not incorporate players with macOS devices. The reason was that the application for this operating system was not available.

Mist Metaverse made the announcement of its pre alpha being open to Mac users on the 8th of January 2023. However, this new build for Apple’s operating system will not be available till 18:00 UTC on the 9th of January. Once it is time, an announcement will be made informing players of the official download link.
Meanwhile, users will not be able to start playing immediately after downloading the client. Although they will be able to access the hub and create a wallet, gameplay will begin a few days later. The team did not state exactly how long before players will wait before starting their adventures. According to Mist, they want to test the initial downloads before opening theitr servers to gaming.
Another good news is that Mist Metaverse pre alpha is now open to all players. This implies that you no longer need to own a Tier 3 NFT and 100,000 $MIST tokens to enjoy the experience. Simply download the zip file, unzip and install it on your computer, then login to join in. Meanwhile, you will still need to connect your wallet and complete other necessary steps.
