The title will arrive in Early Access on the Epic Games Store for Windows PC. Developers confirmed the inclusion of blockchain functions, NFTs, and cryptocurrencies. An internal marketplace will allow in-game gear trading. Netherak Entertainment built the game with tactical combat, demon customization, and soul-based progression systems.
Integration with Somnia Network’s Layer 1
Somnia Network provides the on-chain elements. It is an EVM-compatible blockchain designed specifically for high-throughput gaming applications. Netherak Demons joined Somnia’s Dream Catalyst accelerator program last April. This participation provided infrastructure support to enable fully on-chain mechanics, similar to work done with Uprising Games.
The studio released a cinematic teaser showing demons emerging among crumbling bastions. The teaser’s description reads: “The demons return. The reckoning draws near.” The game recently conducted Discord trials and community missions to prepare players for launch.
Somnia’s SOMI token currently trades at $0.1878. It records a 24.76% drop over the last month. Its market capitalization reaches $40.76 million. The February launch will serve as a practical test of Somnia’s scalability for live ARPG sessions. On-chain elements, like gear and cosmetics, could drive sustainable player economies within the title.
