TL;DR
- 84 players competed for 25,200 ZERC in February challenge.

- Hit The Brakes dominated slowest-winner leaderboard with endurance runs.
The blockchain-based horse racing platform zkRace finalized its February 2026 leaderboard challenge with 84 participants competing for a total prize pool of 25,200 $ZERC tokens, according to the project’s official announcement. The competition published separate leaderboards for “Fastest Winners” and “Slowest Winners,” showcasing the variety of race strategies players applied across dirt, synthetic and turf tracks.
Fastest finish times spanned short sprints and extended distances
On dirt, Olympian Gold posted the quickest 2-furlong time at 0 minutes and 23.242 seconds. Bull Run registered leading marks for both Dirt 5F (0:59.34) and Dirt 6F (1:10.472). Harby Vibe topped the charts in Dirt 3F (0:35.317) and later in the long Dirt 15F distance (2:59.847). On synthetic surfaces, Burice Mill stood out with 0:23.401 in Synthetic 2F, while Groda appeared multiple times among the fastest on synthetic and turf 8F events.
The slowest-winner leaderboard reflected deliberate pacing and endurance-based tactics. Hit The Brakes dominated several long dirt categories, posting the slowest winning times from Dirt 2F (0:28.71) through Dirt 14F (3:00.700). Other endurance entries on the slowest list included The Majestic Countess (Dirt 12F and Dirt 15F) and Very Bad Appaloosa on synthetic 12F (2:35.215).
The full prize pool of 25,200 $ZERC will distribute to participants based on their leaderboard positions. The platform confirmed that prize distribution will complete by the end of the week, running from March 5 to 7, 2026. Players interested in the current competition can now register for the March leaderboard challenge, available at the official site zkrace.com/races.
“The thrill of competition continues with the March Leaderboard Challenge, now live on zkrace.com/races,” the project stated in its announcement, aligned with the publication summarizing February results. The dual-leaderboard format — rewarding both speed and measured pacing — reinforces zkRace’s approach of offering multiple paths to victory within its decentralized racing ecosystem.
