Atlético de Madrid is collaborating with STEPN to launch the Genesis NFT collection. This initiative is a collaboration between Atlético, WhaleFin, Amber Group’s reference platform, primary sponsor and Official Digital Wealth and Digital Lifestyle Partner of the club. It will be the maiden digital asset offering from the Spanish club.

The Atlético de Madrid Genesis NFT is a collection of 1,001 football boots. They are categorized into the Common, Uncommon and Rare levels of rarity. Anyone who owns them will get unique benefits on the WhaleFin App. In addition, STEPN members who equip themselves with the non-fungible tokens will earn more rewards for walking.
Details of the Atlético de Madrid Genesis NFT Collection
The Atlético de Madrid Genesis NFT collection sale will go live on the 26th of August. This event will take place on the WhaleFin App. Interested participants will have to register on that platform. However, only 200 shoes will be launched. 180 pieces will be shared through WhaleFin, while STEPN will distribute the other 20 to its members. The Atlético de Madrid Foundation will use 10% of the proceeds to build international schools.
Of the 1,0001 boots in this drop, 850 are Common. This category of digital assets will immortalize periods when the club won national and international titles. It will emphasize essential details like the date and place these events took place. In addition, there will be 140 Uncommon boots that will represent the stadiums. On a final note, there will be 11 Rare Boots. These items will reference the footballers that put their bodies on the line to defend the club every match day.
Owning a piece from this drop offers you a chance at a draw where you can win a trip and hotel nights. In addition, there are also match tickets at the Cívitas Metropolitano available to those who win this lottery. Everyone who purchases boots from this collection will get an official Atlético de Madrid shirt. However, those that buy the Rare NFTs will get more exclusive items. For one, their jerseys will be signed by the team captain.
