Come the 31st of January, F1 Delta Time will be launching its Grand Prix. This week long event will feature a wide range of activities. There is also an amazing price pool set aside for the Grand Prix rewards. Announcement of this upcoming event was made via the F1 Delta Time Medium Page. Here are the details of this event.
Details of the F1 Delta Time Grand Prix
The F1 Delta Time Grand Prix will run from the 31st of January to 23:59:59 (UTC) on February 6th. Over this period, there will be different activities. This includes competing across 3 circuits in different weathers. These circuits include:
- The Formula 1® Autodromo Nazionale Monza
- Formula 1® Shanghai International Circuit
- Also the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix
Players can race in any weather across any of these 3 tracks. However, it is only races from the hot and light rain weathers will earn you points. Over the period of the Grand Prix, F1 Delta Time will accumulate your racing points. Below are the points according to racers’ final standing:
- 1st Place – 25 points
- 2nd Place – 22 points
- 3rd Place – 20 points
- 4th Place – 17 points
- 5th Place – 15 points
- 6th Place – 12 points
- 7th Place – 10 points
- 8th Place – 8 points
- 9th Place – 6 points
- 10th Place – 4 points
- 11th Place or lesser – 1 point
At the end of the week, the game will issue a leaderboard using the point system above. Of worthy mention is that races will be according to tiers. Winners will get to share from 12 trophies and 60,000 REVV from this season.
Weekly Key Rewards
As part of the prize pool, players will also earn keys. However, they will get these keys in fractions. To unlock the NFTs inside a key, you will have to earn the complete key. For example, finishing 1st Place in Tier 1 will help you earn 0.1 fraction of the Legendary Key. To get 1 full legendary key, you will have to finish 1st place ten times in Tier 1.
On the other hand, you can also trade in a fraction key for a token. In addition, there are Legendary, Epic and Rare Keys.
Time Trial
Still on rewards, Delta Time is also setting aside 20,000 REVV tokens. Each Tier will get 25% of this token for the purpose of time trial races. In each Tier, the top 3 racers will earn token rewards. Unlike the Grand Prix, the Delta Time Time Trial will be a weekly event. The time trial will run from Monday 00:00:00(UTC) till Sunday 23:59:59 (UTC). Final standing will be determined by players combined daily points.
