Aavegotchi has kicked off the tenth season of Rarity Farming, offering participants the chance to win large rewards over eight weeks of competition.
This event is organized into four rounds, during which on-chain snapshots of the leaderboards will be taken to reward the rarest, most dedicated, and most experienced Gotchis with $GHST and exclusive NFTs. Season 10 promises to be one of the most competitive, with 1.5 million GHST available, which is approximately $1.4 million USD.

To participate, players must own an Aavegotchi or can borrow one through Gotchi Lending, a service that allows sharing the earnings obtained during the lending period. Aavegotchi has established several reward categories. These include Rarity, Kinship, XP, and Gotchi Battler, each with a specific percentage of the total rewards. The main category, Rarity, receives 50% of the total prizes, while Kinship and Gotchi Battler represent 20%, and XP 10%.
In the Rarity category, players can improve the rarity of their Aavegotchis by combining Wearables and increasing their traits through events and the aging mechanic. To improve Kinship, players must interact with their Aavegotchi by petting it twice daily or using special potions. XP can be accumulated by participating in community activities and using XP potions.
Aavegotchi Introduces New Battle Dynamics
The Gotchi Battler category introduces an additional dynamic of battles between Aavegotchi teams. Players must form their teams and compete in tournaments to earn additional rewards. Registered teams will automatically advance through each round of the tournament. The Chainlink’s VRF random number generator will determine the results. The prize pool for Gotchi Battler is 300K GHST.
Regarding the structure of the season, players will be able to view the results of each round through snapshots. Which will be taken every two weeks, with the first one scheduled for January 20, 2025. Rewards will be assigned after each data capture and distributed directly to the Aavegotchis’ wallets.
Aavegotchi has also made access easier for more players through new tools such as the Wearable rental marketplace, where players can rent rare items to increase the rarity of their Aavegotchis. This innovation may provide an additional advantage for those looking to improve their position on the leaderboards.
