Gods Unchained has implemented two key updates that affect both the ranking system and Sealed Mode. These changes are aimed at improving accessibility for new and lower-ranked players, as well as offering new rewards and dynamics in Sealed Mode.
Regarding the ranking system, adjustments have been made to the number of Win Points (WP) needed to rank up. From now on, players in ranks 1 to 8 will need 80 points to rank up, instead of the previous 100 points. This reduction has been made to help newer players progress and allow them to compete against more experienced players at a faster pace. However, players in ranks 9 and above will still require 100 points to rank up.

Gods Unchained: Calibrating the Gaming Experience for New Players
In addition, the “Safety Line” has been adjusted, which is the threshold a player must reach within their rank to avoid losing points due to defeats. For players in Rank 1, the new safety line is set at 40 points, instead of the previous 80. Players in ranks 2 to 4 must accumulate 40 win points to stay protected from losing rank. These changes aim to provide a more accessible experience for players in the early stages of ranking.
The protection system against de-ranking has also been modified. Each player has a shield icon that indicates how many losses they can sustain before being demoted. If a player accumulates more than 100 loss points, the shield breaks, and the player may be moved to a lower rank depending on their position within the Safety Line.
Regarding Sealed Mode, Gods Unchained has launched the “The Bull Run – Part 1” event, which will begin on December 3, 2024. This event allows players to compete with a 60-card deck and participate for rewards, all for an entry fee of 5 $GODS. The event will be available until January 7, 2025, when Part 2 will begin
