Another important change is the increase in the “Luck” parameter values for items with rarity levels 5 to 10. This improvement aims to optimize the chances of obtaining better results during adventures, which can directly influence the player experience when obtaining gear and items.

Starting December 19, 2024, players will also be able to access proxy tokens, a new currency exclusive to Phase 2, which can be obtained during adventures. Proxy tokens can be exchanged for $SHARDS tokens at a 1:1 exchange rate once the $SHARDS token is launched.

WorldShards Improves Its Economy and Focuses on Gameplay

The launch of Phase 2 also brings a new resource, Ancient Rifts, which will be used to upgrade the rarity of collectible equipment. The drop rate of this resource will be higher at the beginning of Phase 2, making it easier to obtain.

In terms of gameplay, the stack limits for various items, such as basic resources, projectiles, food, and other materials, have been increased. This provides greater flexibility in inventory management. Adjustments have also been made to enemies, reducing the damage from certain elite enemy types and improving the accuracy of their attack hit zones to better match their animations. Additionally, dual axe abilities have been improved, consuming less mana.

Finally, new puzzles and seasonal decorative items have been added, as well as 25 new winter-themed adventure islands. These additions enhance the game experience and offer players new challenges and resources to explore. Visual updates have also been made to chests in the game, and loot collection bugs have been fixed.
