The closed beta (CBT) of Ragnarok: Monster World (ROMW) has officially begun, Ronin will offer to players the opportunity to explore the game before its launch. The testing period will run from August 19 to August 25, 2024. This will allow players to test the game, identify and report bugs, and participate in various events that include both on-chain and off-chain rewards.
During this week of testing, players will be tasked with exploring the different types of Ragmons available as off-chain items and experiencing the off-chain merging system to level them up. This will help them become familiar with the game’s mechanics and prepare their strategies for the official launch.

It is important to note that all rewards obtained during the CBT will be temporary and will be reset at the end of the event. However, accounts and NFTs will remain intact for the official launch. During the CBT, certain aspects of the game have been adjusted. Such as reducing the time required to open chests, to improve the players’ experience within the limited testing period.
Ragnarok Offers a Preliminary Glimpse
Players who own Ragmon NFTs will be able to access them during the CBT by using their social accounts or emails linked to the wallets used on the game’s website. These NFTs will not only be available during the test. But they can also continue to be used and improved once the game is officially launched.
Additionally, several daily and special events have been organized to encourage player participation. These include daily login rewards. In-game events offering NFTs as prizes, and challenges that provide raffle tickets to win additional NFTs and other rewards. Activities have also been launched on platforms like Discord and X. Where players can share strategies and screenshots of the game to participate for additional prizes.
