Participants will compete for a total prize pool of 7,600 SAND, The Sandbox’s cryptocurrency, which will be distributed among the winners as follows: first place will receive 1,500 SAND, second place 1,000 SAND, and third place 750 SAND.
Participants who rank between fourth and tenth place will receive 300 SAND each. Additionally, the first 100 valid participants who do not make it into the top 10 will receive a compensation of 25 SAND. All prizes will be delivered via the Polygon network, and the top five places may receive catalysts for asset minting.
What Requirements Does The Sandbox Impose?
To be eligible for the top three places, participants must complete the identity verification process (KYC) or be a verified creator. Those who place from fourth to tenth do not need to meet these requirements to receive their rewards. To become a verified creator. Interested parties must have a studio linked to a GMF account or have participated in five previous contests. Placing in the top 10 at least once.
Assets must be original and created in VoxEdit, not exceeding 5,000 faces or 175 nodes. With a maximum height of 512 voxels. Entries containing offensive, discriminatory, or sexualized elements are not allowed, and creations must adhere to The Sandbox’s guidelines. Entries must be submitted by posting a GIF of the asset on Twitter. Tagging @VoxEdit and @TheSandboxGame, and using the #VoxEditContest hashtag. To complete the registration, participants must fill out a Google form provided by the organization.
Entries will be evaluated by The Sandbox team based on creativity. Usability, optimization, and aesthetics, with a special emphasis on the asset’s versatility. Winners will not only receive SAND rewards but will also have their works considered for promotional uses by The Sandbox
