Highlights of the Rewards for the Community Contest
The prize pool for the contest is worth over $100,000. Winners of the contest will share 50,000 SAND and receive Star Atlas spaceships. The highlight of how the prize pool would be shared among the winners is detailed below:
- 1st Position: 20,000 SAND and an Opal Bitboat Ship worth $50,000.
- 2nd Position: 15,000 SAND and a Calico Meditech and 2x Calico ATS Enforcer worth $35,000.
- 3rd Position: 8,000 SAND, Calico Medtech Ship, Busan Trill of Life Ship, and Ogrika Mik Ship worth $18,500.
- 4th to 10th Positions: 1,000 SAND and Busan Trill of Life Ship worth #3,000.
- The best BLOND:ISH headpiece will receive Ogrika Mik Ship and Busan Trill of Life Ship.
How to Participate and Submit an Entry in the Star Atlas and the Sandbox Community Contest
- Create an original GIF of your completely animated asset. The team recommends that you use Gyazo.
- After the creation, tweet the GIF of your asset and mention @staratlas, @TheSandboxGame, and @VoxEdit on Twitter. You should also include #WeAreStarAtlas and #VoxEditWeekly hashtags in your tweet.
- Fill out the required Google Form to complete your submission.
That is all! With these steps, you have successfully submitted your entry in the Community Contest. Suffice to mention that the submission opens at midnight on May 2 and closes at 11:59 pm UTC on May 15. The reviews and voting of entries start on May 16 and will continue until June 5.
The result of the contest will be announced on June 11. It is crucial to mention BLOND:ISH, which is an optional entry. For this entry, interested participants are required to design an entertaining and immersive headpiece of an avatar with VoxEdit.
