The LaMelo Ball Mint Goes Live on The Sandbox Marketplace

The Sandbox is set to launch the Lamelo Ball Mint on the 25th of July. Players will have access to in-game avatars resulting from the partnership between Sandbox and basketball player, MeloD1P. The event will take place in several stages, with certain users getting priority access over others.

The NFT minting exercise will begin by 4:00 PM (CEST) on the 25th of July. Before then, the team will take a snapshot of the wallet of all users by 9:00 AM CEST on the 21st of March. Anyone who holds specific digital assets will join the allowlist and can mint two LaMelo Ball Avatars.

Each of the LaMelo avatars is one-of-a-kind and has its special traits. This includes on-court and off-court attributes to enable their owners to access the best gaming experience. Holders of these NFTs will be able to enjoy basketball gaming within the SandVerse.

8 lucky individuals who get 1:1 LaMelo Avatar will get two tickets each to watch a live basketball game. These NFTs also unlock upcoming content. Experiences and other features. More so, players who use them for gameplay will earn $SAND.

This digital collection contains 3000 unique avatars, but The Sandbox is setting aside 120 NFTs for marketing and promotional purposes. Interested buyers should know that the price for one avatar is 100 $SAND. However, this does not include the gas fee. Buyers should only purchase digital assets from The Sandbox NFT Marketplace to prevent being defrauded.

People in the allowlist will get 24 hours to mint up to 2 NFTs. By 4:00 PM (CEST) on the 26th of July, The Sandbox will open the LaMelo Ball Mint in a public sale. At this point, users will be able to purchase up to four avatars. Meanwhile, anyone who misses out on this sale will only be able to buy from other players who want to sell theirs on OpenSea.
