Axie Infinity is announcing the launch of the season 5 buy-in brawl. This is a new type of tournament that will make gameplay more exciting for lunacians. Unlike other competitions, there are limited slots, and people will be selected on a first come, first served basis.

This is a brief tournament that will begin by 8 PM GMT+7 on the 15th. It will continue till the 16th of July, 2023. Meanwhile, there are only 512 slots available in this contest. More so, Axie Infinity is setting 200 free tournament tickets aside for the best players from Origins Season 2. This implies that interested participants will vie for 312 available openings.

To secure a slot, users must pay the buy-in fee of 1$AXS. Anyone who wants to learn more about the process can raise a support ticket. The customer service team will give them complete details on how to join the competition. More so, everyone who pays the entry fee will receive 1 ticket cosmetic. This item will be delivered into their inventory, and individuals do not need to take further steps.

The Axie Infinity Season 5 Buy-In Brawl will begin with a single elimination and best of 3 match formats. On the first day, only participants who win will progress up the ranks. This process will continue until there are only 64 people left. On that same day, there will be another round of single-elimination and best of 3 match competitions.

By Sunday, the 16th of July, the remaining 16 players will face off to determine the champion. The process will involve a double elimination instead of a single format. More so, it will involve the best of 5 duels instead of the best of 3. The final games between the last 8 players will be streamed live on Twitch.
