Mines of Dalarnia, a blockchain-based action-adventure game, has announced the release of its latest update, Journey to Dalarnia, which introduces new features, improvements, and rewards for players.

The update, which went live on January 25, 2024, adds three new planets to the Dalarnia sector: Terra Praxis, Terra Caldera, and Terra Simia. Each planet has its unique environment, resources, enemies, and secrets to discover. Players can explore these planets using their customized mining vehicles, which can be upgraded with various parts and weapons.
The update also brings a new game mode, Spacehop, a multiplayer minigame where players compete to collect as many stars as possible while avoiding obstacles and enemies. Spacehop can be accessed from the main menu or the space stations on each planet. Players can earn DAR tokens, the native currency of the game, by participating in Spacehop tournaments or by staking their tokens in the game’s smart contract.
Another feature of the update is the addition of perks, which are special abilities that players can unlock and activate to enhance their gameplay. Perks can be obtained by completing quests, finding relics, or opening chests.
Some examples of perks are Double Jump, which allows the player to jump twice in the air; Magnet, which attracts nearby resources to the player; and Shield, which protects the player from damage for a short time.
How Mines of Dalarnia Rewards Players with DAR Tokens and NFTs
The Journey to Dalarnia update also improves the game’s performance, graphics, sound, and user interface. The game’s developers, Workinman Interactive, have also fixed some bugs and glitches reported by the community.
