Champions Arena Adds New Champions to Season 2

Champions Arena is adding 3 brand-new avatars to the game after it launches Season 2. Alongside these new additions, the team is incorporating several upgrades to gameplay that will improve user experience. Furthermore, this patch note will also enable contestants to earn more rewards.

Three Champions Coming to the Champions Arena Season 2

Three new in-game characters Zafrina, Jia, and Lavina will be making an appearance in the second season of the Champions Arena. From this date till the middle of September, players will be able to use these avatars during the course of gameplay. In fact, participants are four times more likely to summon any of them than other avatars in the game.

Meanwhile, players should learn about these new champions and their abilities during gameplay. The reason is that players may also encounter these in-game characters during battles in the Arena in Season 2.

There are two ways to obtain any of these new champions. One of the methods is by summoning them during the course of gameplay. On the other hand, players can mint Zafrina, Lavina, or Jia as an NFT using minting Scrolls via the Estate’s Alter of Champions.

Those who mint these characters as NFTs will enjoy 15% more victory points per battle than those who summon them in-game. More so, this benefit will continue till the end of Season 3. Gala Games understands the cost of minting a digital asset. This is why the team is taking measures to compensate those who go through this process.  Furthermore, players can also purchase already-existing champions from other users.

In other news, people do not have to go through the rigorous process of increasing the levels of their avatars. Instead of completing milestones, people can purchase the New Champion Growth Packs and power up their in-game characters much faster. However, these boosters will only be available for a limited time, and people will no longer be able to use them once the new Legendary Champions Summons gain regular odds.

Other Updates in the Game

Alongside the addition of these new NFTs, the team is correcting certain defaults in the game. For example, skill descriptions now match their actual effects. Similarly, Ifrit casts will now cause buff removal instead of increasing the gauge.

Furthermore, Bjorn’s unique resources will now increase the user’s defense. Also, Seraph will now create the Angel’s Fury, and Quixote passive effect will now work normally.
